Delightful Designs from Vintage Film

I’m a nature and mixed media enthusiast based in the mountains of North Georgia. I create collages from vintage film negatives and slides — cutting, layering, and reimagining them into whimsical new images. Each piece gives old, captured frames a new life and a new story.

With a background in film acting, I’ve always been fascinated by the tiny moments that make up a larger narrative. My work celebrates those fleeting fragments — a glance, a gesture, a flicker of light — and turns them into playful visual stories. Some of the film negatives and slides I've used to create my pieces date back to the 1950s (I digitize most negatives and slides to preserve them before use). It's pretty amazing to see the details of culture and how it's changed throughout the decades, as well as the colors and brands of the film media itself.

From gallery-sized light boxes to handmade night lights and holiday ornaments, I aim to bring a sense of wonder and delight into everyday spaces. Whether it’s a soft glow in a dark hallway or a bit of sparkle on a festive tree, I hope my work brings joy to those small, quiet corners of life.
